Our Wines

Our Handcrafted Wines are best described as Full Fruit Flavour... this is the result of minimal intervention in the vineyard and winery. Applying biodynamic practices, no artificial fertilizers or pesticides are used; and no preservatives added at any stage of the winemaking process; our wines remain chemical free. We do not filter the wine or use any fining agents - egg, milk or fish products - so it can also be enjoyed by vegans and vegetarians. An emphasis on low yield further enhances the quality, intensity and richness of fruit of our single-vineyard wine. The innovative use of a tirage cap ensures a positive seal for our preservative free wine, providing maximum cellaring potential.

Pinot Noir 2010

Darker and more luscious in colour than most pinots, with hints of morello cherries and apricot kernel. The flavour goes on and on opening up on the palate to finish with a silky dryness ready for another mouthful. To be enjoyed with a wide range of foods from duck to cheese or on it's own with friends.
Drinking beautifully now this wine can be cellared up to 5 years.

Reserve Wild Yeast Pinot Noir 2008 Sold Out

Selected eight rows of exceptional fruit and early in veraison dropped fruit to one bunch per cane to intensify the Pinot characters, resulting in more complex flavours, almost seductive - rich and velvety. It has been referred to as Burgundian in style with fullness and exceptional palate length.

The use of wild (indigenous) yeast has given an even greater complexity, a creamier texture to the palate and reflects the vineyard character more closely, a truly harmonious wine.
Drinking superbly now the Reserve Wild Yeast Pinot Noir will continue to develop, cellaring 6-7 years.

Merlot 2010

The Merlot vines are positioned in the most sheltered part of the vineyard to promote good fruit set. Intense dark crimson in colour with a soft big mouthful of rich fruit it makes for enjoyable drinking and partners a wide variety of foods exceptionally well, from pasta to roasted meats and Mediterranean vegetables. Our regular customers have deemed it "smooth". Great now, can be cellared up to 5 years.
